On ‘Add contact’ the app bugs with ‘Failed to add contact [OK]’.
Disallowing to send money to people not in my systemwide Android contacts makes this feature useless.
I dont have all my contacts stored on Android for good reasons, and I do not have the permission of my friends to give their details to any shady/spammy/whatever app.
Found a way NOT to expose the contacts and payment receiver
in both ways, at least on Android (rooted Lineage-OS here):
Simply create a new user-profile and install the Revolut app there.
One profile cant read the contacts in the other profile, and you may
give Revolut all those pesky permissions.
Multiple user-profiles also work with multiple instances of Revolut
(just in case ;), and for many other single-account-apps.
Its a nice alternative to setup and carry a separate smartphone.
Also tried the separation with the app ParallelSpace, but Revolut
does not really like to run in that environment and complains a lot.
