For the freelancers and self-employed members of our Community, Revolut Pro is here. In this post, we’re going to dive into what Revolut Pro can do for you.
- What is Revolut Pro and who can open a Pro account?
If you are after an easy account to manage your self-employment or side hustle finances alongside your Personal account, then Revolut Pro is probably right for you. If your business grows, or if you need more features, you may need to set up a Revolut Business account instead.
To open a Pro account, you’ll need a Personal account first. If you have a Personal account and are self-employed, you can then open a Revolut Pro account once you pass our onboarding checks. Revolut Pro is available to Revolut customers in the United Kingdom and Europe (excluding CH, LI, and LU).
Revolut Pro can’t support some business activities, like video-game arcades or selling second-hand cars. Please check our Terms & Conditions for more information.
- Where do I find Revolut Pro in the Revolut app?
To find your Revolut Pro account, go to ‘Home’ > tap the account selector below your balance > scroll down and select ‘Pro’. If you haven’t created a Pro account yet, check out the next section of this article.
- How do I create a Revolut Pro account?
To create a Revolut Pro account, go to ‘Home’ > tap the ‘Account selector’ below your balance > tap ‘+Add new’ > choose ‘Pro account’ and complete the application
You’ll be guided through a quick sign-up process where we’ll collect some information about your business activities. Before completing your application, you’ll need to review and agree to the relevant T&C, and confirm that the account will only be used for business purposes.
As soon as you provide all the required information, verification should take less than 24 hours.
