What Does Revolut Business Offer?

Hello, Revolut Community! We hope you’re having a good week so far. We’re curious — have you been using Revolut Business to boost your business finances? :rocket:

Revolut’s been making big waves since its launch in 2015, and we‘re currently at over 35 million customers worldwide. We also have over 500,000 Revolut Business customers. Why, you ask?

There are many benefits to setting up a Revolut Business account — to name a few, you can:

  • Pay employees and suppliers easily.
  • Exchange money at competitive rates in 25+ currencies.
  • Control employees’ expenses and issue company cards.
  • Accept payments easily worldwide and get fast access to your money.

Sounds good? Let’s explore some of those perks in more detail!

:credit_card: Company cards
You can order physical and virtual prepaid debit cards for your employees, set spending limits on them, and directly link to your main Business account. You can easily access and track employee spending in-app, any time.

Every employee can have up to 3 physical cards and up to 200 active virtual cards, which can be used with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Virtual cards are ideal for one-time expenses and subscriptions. To control recurring subscriptions, account admins can set rolling monthly limits on employees’ cards.

:receipt: Expenses
You can use Expenses to track your Revolut Business account spending like never before, saving precious admin time. The main WOW factor is that you and your team members can attach and categorise receipts for each payment, Direct Debit, or transfer, on the go — no more lost receipts, no more manual data entry. Account admins can track spending in real-time.

:currency_exchange: Currency exchange
With Revolut Business, you can exchange, hold, send, and spend money in 25+ currencies at the interbank rate¹ (Within allowance, during market hours). They’re all stored in different sub-accounts. The account admin controls employee spending in these accounts. If employees want to pay in a currency that isn’t supported for holding, they can still spend in one of our 138 supported currencies right away.

:earth_asia: International transfers
On all paid plans, you’ll get an allowance of no-fee local and international transfers, which you can track directly in-app. If your business makes and/or receives international payments very often, this can really reduce your transfer costs.

:chart_with_upwards_trend:Available plans
We currently have 4 business plans for you to choose from:

  • Basic
  • Grow

To discover which plan meets your business needs best, you can check out this page on our website. (Business plans may vary depending on the regions)

All our plans include complimentary debit cards, which you can use to pay in 138 currencies or to hold over 25 currencies. With every plan, you can manage employee details, like roles, permissions, and individual spending limits. The bigger the plan, the more you unlock for your business, like higher volumes of currency exchange at the interbank rate, higher interest rates on your savings (if available in the country), and more complimentary Metal cards.

¹At Revolut Business, we give customers our interbank rate for money currency exchanges — the same rate we’d offer ‌our partners for inter-bank transactions. We determine the rate based on market conditions like liquidity and volatility, and it might be different from averages published by other sources.
