We all love Revtag! It’s a simple, reliable and instant way to transfer money between Revolut accounts. Just add the Revtag of the person/company you want to pay and voilá.

We are delighted to tell you that we have extended this functionality into our Business API. Now you can create a Revolut counterparty even more easily with the name and Revtag.

Am I right in thinking that a user can change their Revtag?
If so, what happens to counterparties created with a Revtag if the user changes their Revtag?
Will the counterparty still be valid?
Will calling the Retrieve A Counterparty GET method using the counter party Id return their new Revtag?

Yes, the counterparty will still be valid. It will be automatically updated and you would get the new Revtag in future API responses.
