Recipient email address / UK Business accounts

I just paid an invoice and realized that the recipients email address is a mandatory field, which can’t be left blank. If you pay larger businesses there’s not always a good email address to use and if they receive large volumes they don’t always appreciated being bombarded with emails. As a workaround I can of course add my own email address, but that unnecessarily clogs up my own inbox.
While the payment notification from Revolut is often a great feature, I think it should be optional rather than mandatory.
