Pay by phone?

I can’t believe nobody has already asked this but I can’t find it if so. Why can’t the app operate my phone’s NFC device so that I can pay using Revolut on a contactless merchant reader? Of course this works OK using the physical card but the ability to pay contactless also by phone could be useful.

I tried installing the Revolut card into Android Pay (as this would be a workaround to achieve same thing) but it fails with “card not compatible”.

HCE has been discussed some times in the forum, and Android Pay has been discussed also quite a lot :smile:

Thanks, my phone does have stuff about HCE in the NFC settings but I didn’t know what it meant.
