How to move a french revolut account to revolut USA?

help page]Hey Graham, thank you for your good advise, last one when I close my account in Europe and then open a new one in USA, I guess the funds will be transfered automatically.!?

I’m really not sure about that - best ask in the app before you go any further but from what I gather, there are certain things you need to do, such as withdrawing all currency balances from your account. All transfers will need to be completed, and no money left in the account. Once the account is closed, all debit cards linked to it will be cancelled - which means you wouldn’t be able to access any funds left in the account.
I’m certain that the support team will guide you through the process - every customer matters after all…

To ensure a smooth closure process, please ensure your account meets the following termination conditions before proceeding:
- Update your app to the latest version
- Clear every currency account (including any cryptocurrency)
- Clear your Savings Accounts
- Downgrade your plan to Standard
- Close your trading account
- Have no pending transactions or active subscriptions
- Have no active <18 account
- Have no active insurance
- Have no open chargeback requests
If your balance is insufficient for an external transfer, you can either transfer the funds to a Revolut friend internally or donate them to charity.
