When I’m travelling, a problem I tend to have is having left-over currency. Does Revolut allow me to directly deposit this money into my account as it is? i.e. if I originally converted GBP to USD could I deposit excess USD in my account? If so, how?

Just convert it back to a currency you can use and spend it. You could send it back to your bank but why bother, unless you’ll get interest on it if it’s in your bank!
We had left over rupees and changed them into euro ready for our next trip.
