I have got a card linked to a UK mobile phone and am going to Australia for 8 months so will need to link it to my new australian phone is this possible?
It is possible to change account number, you must contact in app support to do this.
Thank you but I did worry that you’d need the old number still to receive a text for verification? So does that mean I need to keep my uk phone number going until I get a new phone in Australia?

You can contact with support without log in the app, you should click on Forgot password and contact support. They can change your phone number in system after verification. So easiest way is to keep your UK number, but it is not required.
