Change passcode request

Well here I am like what seems to be plenty of others how on earth can a financial business run when an app is absolutely pathetic

App says I must change passcode
I can’t remember my old one
I click forgot passcode
It asks for selfie but don’t recognise me
So give option chat to agent
App just hangs

I seem to have tried what people are suggesting and I’m going round in circles think best option is somehow withdraw my money and bin this rubbish system off

Welcome to our community. I can totally understand your frustration regarding resetting the passcode. Kindly follow the basic troubleshooting steps first in order to complete the ‘forgot passcode’ steps successfully:

  • Clear cache & cookies: Ensure to clear the cache cookies on your phone.

  • Strong Wifi: Make sure to check your wifi connection

  • Updated version: Don’t forget to download the latest version of the Revolut app.

  • Restart device: Restart your device once

Once you complete all the above mentioned steps, please follow our ‘Reset Passcode’ steps carefully. Make sure you’re using your phone number or email associated with your Revolut account. Then follow the steps:

  1. Open the app and select ‘Login
  2. Enter the phone number linked to your account and hit ‘Continue
  3. Tap ‘Forgot your passcode?
  4. Take a selfie or upload ID if required
  5. Create a new passcode (avoid consecutive/repeating digits)
