If one decides to split a subset of transactions into a new category, they would need to change their category 1 by 1, which is not optimal and pretty slow. What’s worse is that the app no longer suggests similar transactions to update too.

There should be an option to select multiple transactions and change their category (and/or note, where applicable) in bulk.

I agree, this is an excellent idea. Either bring back similar transaction tagging or allow selecting multiple transactions in a category and then recategorize them.

Now if this was actually implemented in the web-UI not only in the phone app, that would be even better!
