I’d like to be able to send someone to the local shop with my Revolut card with contactless enabled.
I’d like to be able to assign a maximum spend limit to the next successful transaction, while being comfortable with the knowledge that contactless will be automatically disabled afterwards.

As in the other thread. A better solution would be to have the other person open a Revolut account. In this case you can instantly transfer money to them and they can use their own card and account.

It takes x days for a card to arrive, spontaneity says this wait is unfavourable.

Agreed, this feature would also be useful when you are shopping from a merchant you don’t trust (yes, it happens). Even more useful while traveling.
