Wrong reference number when topping up


I tried topping up my Revolut account via bank transfer, however, in my stupidity i entered the wrong reference number. I’ve been trying to reach a live agent for the past couple of days but no luck. Any ideas how to resolve this (correcting the reference number or reaching a live agent)?

I would try to reach support as soon as possible and provide all details for the transfer (like a receipt).

A wrong reference might result in the funds being allocated to someone else, if the reference is valid. And like with with a SEPA transfer sent to the wrong person, you might have to rely on a third party (the recipient) forwarding the funds to you.

If it’s not a valid Revolut reference number, it should be easy like @alessandro said.
