Why can’t I deactivate my main currency, EUR?
I am going to UK and would like to disable my EUR currency, to make sure that funds used are the ones on my GBP account, and not exchanged by mistake from my EUR account.
As a workaround I guess you can create a vault and transfer all your euros to it. Would this work?
You can’t limit payment to a specific currency but as indicated by @zapata the best and simplier solution is to transfer all your euros in a Vault 
You do not have to do anything. If the purchases you will make in England are smaller than your gbp balance then you are ready to go.
Revolut charges you in the local currency. So, you have to keep an amount in that currency and also that amount must be able to cover the purchases.
