If you think it’s expensive there, you won’t like the price I paid here in Brazil (around €1600, Pro Max 256GB) but was still less expensive than in Uruguay ($2500 USD 
)
I could get a gray market imported model cheaper, but was the USA model (eSIM only) and at that time wasn’t much cheaper than the one o got on a promotion (paying by PIX, if I used a debit or credit card would be €1800) on a store.
iPhone 14 Plus is a nice device too (great battery life), but because the small price difference I got the Pro Max.

Around the same in Brazil 
(Not at launch, but after 3~5 month the price drops on third part stores, but never on Apple itself)
That’s why I bought the top of line model, so I could keep using it for longer (there’s no sense on switch phone every year).
