Verify UK bank card while abroad

I am working in South Africa, although I do have a base in the UK. I am trying to verify my account with a bank card top up but I keep getting told that the address is not matching back to the address with my bank, even though I tried to match them up exactly.

Is there another way that I can verify myself and add that bank card?

A verification with a picture of yourself and your British ID should do too. Contact support about that issue and make sure to skip the chatbot by typing “live agent”.
