How long does the verification process take? My app keeps saying “10 minutes” but it has been significantly longer than that.

There is no straight answer. It is an automated process. If that fails, because it is more complex or the photos are blurry, not sharp, too dark, cropped … it can take a couple of days if it needs to be done manually. You might want to search this forum for similar cases to get an idea.
