Update to a stronger passcode fails

When I try to open the App, I got the message: Update to a stronger passcode.
I can not open the App, as this message is blocking any further action.
Pressing the butten ‘Update passcode’ leads to → ‘Verify your identity with a quick foto’
This leads to taking a selfy with the front Camera of the phone.
The selfies are all denied with the remark ‘too blurry’
It is not possible to change to the rear camera or using a alternative identification method.
Tested on several IPhone, same result.
Do I really have to buy a new IPhone to continue using the App?
Please offer a alternative identification method.

  • Take the photo in good lighting
  • Remove glasses and hats
  • You must be the only person in the frame
  • Make sure camera/microphone access is enabled for Revolut
  • Position your face in the oval
  • Follow the guidelines and adjust as needed
