trying to open account with UK address, but only getting Spanish address options

Hi, I’m trying to open an account with my UK address (so not yet registered), but only getting Spanish address options and can’t find a way to reset my country to the UK (I previously went part of the way through trying to open an account with an ES IBAN as I need this for a Spanish employer but will be non-resident in Spain). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times.


One way to do it would be:

  • finish registration of the Spanish account
  • properly close the Spanish account
  • Wait a couple days, reopen a UK account
  • If you’re then running into problems, the support should be able to help you out.

Revolut allows only one account per person. When your Spanish account is lingering in their system, you’re blocked from opening another account with the same ID, phone number, email …
