Sitting here in Norway on my way to Denmark by ferry. Haven’t left and have just received a “welcome to Denmark” message. I think the location functionality in the app is not working as intended. I might have had some contact to the WiFi on board and that is probably a Danish provider and by that I got a Danish temp IP address and that’s super I’m “located” in Denmark. The same issue was in Sweden earlier this year and already reported.
This is related to how you have set a localisation on your phone.
Spoke to employees from revolut at a RevRally and they confirmed it was an issue and they would look into it. They should only relay on the gps and not WiFi if they can’t control it. Shall not be pushed to customers to spend time to configure
