Thinking of getting a Revolut card for when me and my partner go to the states in June bit confused though can you transfer money back to your everyday bank once I return if there is any money left on the card. Have only ever used CaxtonFX before while in Thailand, cheers.

Sure you can, and it’s free!
However, I would recommend trying to use :r: as your everyday bank (or combining both), it works just fantastic! 
Keep in mind to use your card in your own country before travelling and fully verify your account before beginning your trip in order to avoid any trouble
