Refresh/connection status in the app?

I sometimes to have really poor Internet speeds or a very flaky cellular connection. It would be great if we could ‘pull’ the app upwards and then manually refresh, or see the connection status. This would allow the customer to understand whether there is a connection issue, and whether the data is up-to-date.
