Revolut doesn't recognize my bank swift code

Revolut doesn’t recognize my bank swift code.
I am from bolivia, my bank name is Bisa and their swift code is
BANIBOLXXX

According to revolut says this:
A Swift code is usually formatted as such:Bank code A-Z
4 letter code. It usually looks like a shortened version of that bank’s name.
B Country code A-Z
2 letter code. It says which country that bank is in.
C Location code 0-9 A-Z
2 digit location code that could be either 2 letters or numbers. It’s says where that bank’s head office is.

Branch Code 0-9 A-Z
Optional 3 digit code. It specifies a particular branch, instead of the bank’s head office. ‘XXX’ for head office.

But doesn’t work, I tried dozen of times before with their assistants and always only gave me that only code they have but is incompatible with Revolut.

How we can solve this situation?

HI @Jaimeclaure,

What’s the error message you get when you add the beneficiary details?

Best,

Andreas

It would be BANIBOLXXXX (with a further X).

@Fassbrause I think you’re right. It has to be BANIBOLXXXX

BICs should always be made of 8 or 11 characters (if the branch information is specified).

You can check for the BIC validity on SWIFT.com: https://www.swift.com/bsl
