Reverted Payment

Just had a message back on my phone app to say a purchase has been reverted. What does this mean? What are the consequences as I have the good paid for but the money is now back in my account.

Please advise soonest as it may mean we have to stop using the card.

I have the same issue with several payments I made in restaurants… I think I will just stop using this card it is unbelievable.
