I think it would be a great idea if the contract time for Premium and Metal would be reduced.
12 months is a very long time and I think a three or six month period would be great too.
If somebody is happy with his subscription he would continue it anyway and if not he could end it sooner.
I used to be a Metal customer but 12 months is just way too long for me personally.
A good suggestion. Also, if a shorter contract time for Premium and Metal is introduced, 
evolut can consider making the monthly or one time payment subscription to be more costly. Cheaper than a 1 year contract, but not much cheaper so it makes the 1 year contract a viable option as well.
This would prevent people from abusing the lower priced membership just to order the metal card and show off that they have a metal card in their wallet.
