I have 4 physical:
Maestro
Standard Visa
Beta MasterCard
Rainbow MasterCard
…and I also would like to have Rainbow VISA 
Beta cards were manually allocated and could be added even if all three card slots were already taken. But once added, they also count towards the limit. The app will most certainly not allow you to add another physical card without removing two of them in advance.

if you tell them that because of the beta card you’re at the limit, they have in the past, manually ordered cards for me
