Why is my Revolut card treated as a credit card, rather than a debit card. If a merchant asks, the card only works if they process it as credit on their system.
A merchant in New York told me once it is always like this with “international” cards. Also, this might be a benefit. Some car rentals don’t accept debit cards.
For online payments you have to select “Credit Card”, even if it’s a MasterCard Debit.
However, for ATM withdrawals DON’T select “Credit Card” but always everything else apart of “Credit” account.
