Until you further verify your account (or an agent verifies your pending documents), you’ll not be able to top-up more than 250 EUR per year 
This should increase once you’re verified to a reasonable amount and can be further increased by providing a proof of income if needed.
I have just received a message on my smartphone that my verification problem has been solved and my top-up limits have been raised. What a coincidence that it happened just now. Anyway I am happy now. I will read the FAQ about the top-up limit. Thank you for your time.
