Yes, you’ll be able to use it waiting for new one (and even after- you can have and use both)

Are premium card holders subject to long waits before speaking with live agents?
In theory not, premium account holder should get “priority” support (without being specified what that actually means) but right now support seems to be swamped in tickets and everything seems to take ages.
