Payments in Europe.

I currently have 3 currencies in my account . Rupee , pound and euro . If I were to travel Germany , how do I make sure I’m charged from my euro account while using the card. I have 50 Euros and 50 pounds. But I want to be charged euros as I exchanged it while the euro rate was good. How I do I make sure I’m not charged the current rate by deducting pounds. I want to make sure the eu account funds are deducted in Germany or any Europe account.

The local currency will always be charged first if funds are sufficient. You can learn more about this in the FAQs.

The card selects which balance to use in the following order:

*The local currency of the merchant/ATM e.g. if you are in Spain, it will deduct funds from your Euro balance.

*Your base currency - i.e. if you used a UK address to sign-up, your base currency will be GBP.

*Your largest balance.

You need to have sufficient funds in one single balance in order to make a transaction. If you don’t have enough funds in the balance of the local currency, it will default to your next largest balance and so on.
