Payment in Turkey declined because of location based security

I’m currently in Turkey and have used my card successfully. However I have tried to pay and withdraw money out today and it’s saying declined by location based security!? Which leaves me now with no money at all and stranded please help?

Go to your card security settings and deactivate location based security.

(I am also changing the title of this thread, to make this more useful for other users, if you don’t mind.)
