accepted to the wrong sort code/account number

I have been using revolut for a while now…i have always credit my account by bank transfer.
Yesterday i made a transfer and this never appeared in my account.
I have contacted my bank and they have told me it has been accepted by you.
Since i have managed to access my app…the account number/ sort code appears to have been changed in the recent month and i have not bee informed of this since making regular top ups.
Where is this money now and can it be transferred to the correct account.
If my old account number and sort code have changed then surely the payment should never have been accepted?
