It’s nice that the maximum loss I could take from a fraudulent use of my card has reduced from GBP50 to 35. But this only applies after I have reported the loss to Revolut.
So in the worst case if my bag containing wallet, card, and phone were stolen - what counts as a proper loss report and how do I make the report?
Not so @Funn3r. The maximum liability of £35 applies BEFORE you notify Revolut of any loss of card etc. After notification there is NO liability.
From the new terms & conditions:
“Liability for unauthorised transactions
Unless you have acted fraudulently or with intent or gross negligence, you will only be liable for a maximum of £35 (previously £50) (or the equivalent in the currency of your payment instrument) up until the time you inform us that your payment instrument has been lost or stolen. You will not be liable for any losses which occur in relation to your Revolut Account after you have informed us that it has been lost or stolen.”
