Just seen a new metal visa card available. Red dufry.
What benefits if any does this card give? Do I need an account with Red Dufry to benefit?
Visa gives me more options and do like the metal cards. My other metal card is only mastercard.
I’m on the metal plan btw.
Do I get these red dufry benefits by just having this revolut card alone?
Maybe I missed it, but where is the connection to Revolut? If I follow the link it shows me three non-Revolut cards and I also can’t find it mentioned anywhere in the text.
Revolut card is in the revolut app - select new card - last one in the options - embossed with Red by Dufry. Not on the site in the link
I see, there was no announcement or notification at all. Normally they shout about new things. Sorry, can’t help here.
Very much like the Sidemen card. Not much benefit.
so just marketing? Zero benefits at airports
If you want a VISA metal good option but no other advantage. Revolut haven’t responded yet, either here or on FB messenger
There could possibly be attached benefits they’ve just not said yet.
Sidemen you got 10% off their brand website purchases or something.
sent them a message through the help section in the app.
Well that was laughable and not!
Support and payment support could not tell me anything. Basically they don’t know anything why it’s on the card.
Just a label then! Would prefer to have it removed if it serves no purpose
I don’t see it. I can only get the standard Metal colours, plus a special edition gold plated one. Nothing red. Maybe it’s only available in some countries?
If you scroll past the charity cards all the best way on the right.
Reading more about it. dufry looks part of world duty free you see in airports across the globe.
Earn points etc as you purchase and head through the Silver, Gold and Platinum levels based on how frequent you spend there.
Quite possibly going to be launched with more details on the new Ultra plan which would align nicely together.
I’ve ordered it - on its way.
Really wanted a VISA, all other metal cards seem to be mastercard.
As it may be available for a limited time only…
Nice pair of metal cards in my wallet now. But shame they still do not offer the range of standard metal cards as VISA. Why can they offer this limited edition as Visa but not the standard ones?
Probably because they have enough Metal cards from MasterCard now, after x months they switch to Visa debit and then back to MC and sometimes both are available depending on the color you choose.
Their decision to issue MC or Visa is not related to your personal card collection. It changes over time, it varies by region, and it most likely is a result of agreements with MC or Visa to issue a certain number of cards in a specific region.
These agreements have been mentioned in the press. MC / Visa pay marketing money to issuers to push their cards into markets. It also streamlines production to limit a design to just one brand for a while, so my guess is that plays a role as well.
This gold one is actually looking great @Carl_1460 @CJD.

Liking the new visa metal. No name on the front now.
Is that because you have your own design?
