I’ve set to multiply the “change” on card transactions 5 times, it worked fine until now. Yesterday I had a normal card transaction on which no saving has been calculated and transfered to the vault, same with a transaction today, but in between I had a transaction where everything was fine.
What’s up there?
Was there anything specific from those merchants that is different to the others? Ie uber, they aren’t sure on the final amount yet until uber submit it, vs your local supermarket has a fixed price?
No, these were normal supermarkets, yesterday Rewe → no saving, later Aldi → successful saving and today another Aldi → no saving, all payments done via Google Pay and the same deposited card, as always.
I use the savings function for about 2 months now, on every transaction the saving was always done immediately.
You must be saving quite the sum!
But yeah that’s a little too sus, maybe someone will drop by and explain.
was money taken from your account nonetheless or just the amount of the spend?
The amounts I had to pay were debited, but no savings were calculated and transfered to the vault. There is no icon (the little box with 3 coins inside) displayed at the corresponding bookings and no entries for savings on these bookings in the vault.
No I’ve calculated the savings for these two bookings by myself and transfered them manually to the vault.
I will now observe the future behaviour.
Just looked at one of mine from 10:30am yesterday UK and that didn’t have roundups applied either, but the day before and transaction after did.
Thanks for looking up, @Carl_1460. I will go to another supermarket later and see what happens.
Just now at “Kaufland”, saving function was executed successfully.
Thanks for your clarification.
I was concerned that money intended for the savings was nonetheless deducted but not correctly placed thereafter. Your OP wasn’t clear on that point.
I am sorry for the trouble @Kamika242. Is your problem solved now?
Thank you for help @Graham_Lees @Carl_1460.

I don’t know if the problem is solved, I’ll have to see in the near feature if savings continue not to be charged on individual transactions.
I would like to know a possible reason what might have caused the problem.
I’ve also been seeing this in my Revolut for a while now.
I have round up the change turned on for one my vaults too. Not 5 times though, just 1 times, because I like to keep round whole numbers in the main balance.
And randomly some transactions just won’t have any round up applied.
For example I bought coffee out this morning for £3.80 and the 20p wasn’t rounded to my vault.
But other days the exact same coffee shop or similar shop transactions have rounded up successfully.
It’s very hard to rely on this feature lately I have found.
Hello @JustJosh @Kamika242 ,
I can totally understand your concern. I would request you to kindly contact us via in-app chat so that we can look into your issue individually.

I had same problem yesterday, card payment went through, but nothing into savings vault
It’s fine today, well a few minutes ago
Hi @SG.Mandal
I have actually tried this on two different occasions. However they haven’t proven helpful or successful. Either the in app support don’t seem tu use revolut themselves much so don’t seem fully aware of the feature. Or I just get told it’s passed to ‘technical team’ and I should wait 14 days but the time the end of that nothing happens.
Often the in app support seem to just repeat that I should wait for transactions to be ‘completed’ and not ‘pending’.
But that isn’t how the round up change is supposed to work.
As it’s no good rounding up the pennies days after a transaction was made. Will be too confusing a service.
So hence why I have tried here in the community because you tend to get a bit more product knowledge than the in app support.
Just seen, one of the two missing savings was charged today and transfered to the vault.
