This morning I had the banner on my Revolut app to upgrade to metal. The link took me to the Android Play Store to sign in and upgrade. This seemed to go ok, the app indicated that next I had to go to ‘More’ on the app and upgrade. When I got to More there were no new options and I could see that I was still on version 5.11. I restarted my phone, no change. I re-did the upgrade several times, no change. Then the banner disappeared.
I guess I missed out. I have a sneaking feeling it’s because I’m on Android 9, Android Pie. What a shame!
I have tried to contact Live Support but no luck so far. Is it really faster in Premium? I have no experience but it might influence me as to whether I stay in Premium (and go on to get metal) or return back to the free version.
