Metal plan - replacement card term

Hi

I see in the metal plan you get a free replacement card each subsequent year.
Now what does replacement mean?
Can I order let’s say another metal card but maintain my first one active?
Or is the first one actually replaced(cancelled)?

Yes, hence replacement.

You can have additional active metal cards when you pay for them.

ok thanks - thought so.

Shame though - financially it wouldn’t make any difference to them I believe, if you changed the card each year (cancelling the previous one) or ordered a new one and kept the old as long as you didn’t go over your physical card limit.

The quality of the premium grey card is the worst I’ve seen. So thin, scratched only after a few passes through some POS machines.

I do like my gold metal, would be nice to have the metal black or grey in addition instead of the crappy ‘premium’ which is cheaper than the free blue

In my opinion, the best design was the light gray metal card that is not available anymore.

Different to the space grey?

Just received the metal card from xapo bank. Nice card indeed. Just trying them out for 3 months.
