Merchant Summary conflicts with detail view


The All-Time by Merchant summary view within the Analytics screen occasionally conflicts with the detail view you get when you click a particular merchant (e.g. ‘British A’, representing ‘British Airways’). This happens in cases where the overview screen connects additional payment names (e.g. ‘BA Internet Sales’) as belonging to the same company, but then where clicking through on the BA logo only shows transactions associated with the ‘British A’ name for that merchant.

Either the detail view should also show the all of the payments for that merchant, or the by Merchant page shouldn’t connect payments together like this, and so should show ‘British A’ and ‘BA Internet Sales’ separately.

In my case BA showed as “£552 (5 transactions)”, but when I clicked through to see the breakdown I only saw a single transaction for £44.
