Merchant refund prior to card being lost


Hi I got a refund for a significant amount, shortly thereafter I lost the card by leaving it in a card machine. I clicked ‘lost card’ in the app which looks like it disabled and unlinked the card from my account. The refund is not shown anywhere.

I see from here Refund after disable the card
that if the card is disabled, the refund should still process. Will it still be processed despite using ‘lost my card’ (and supposedly unlinking it to the account)?
