Limits Converting/Spending

Hi

I am travelling to the US next week, I’ve transferred £3000 to my account and wish to convert to USD immediately, is there a limit on doing this and if so does this impact my limit on spending with the card?

There is a limit, a monthly one of £5,000, after which you pay a 0.5% surcharge. It does not affect spending though.
