Issue with GBP Account Activation/Transferring Money


I transferred money from my irish account to Revolut Account. I need to send a payment in GBP so I converted and added and GBP account. When I am trying to make a payment from my GBP account, it says We’re sorry, something went wrong . please try later. I was talking with one of the girls on a help chat, she said I have to activate my GBP account first, which I thought I did, but when I try again it says the same thing , something gone wrong please try again later. I am first time using Revolut so I am not sure what I am doing wrong, the girl said that there is an issues with creating GBP accounts at the moment, as I only have few days to complete the my transfer just wondering how long does it usually takes to fix an issue like this, or is there something else that I am doing wrong.
