Foreign cash withdrawals and Limit

I’ve forgotten and can’t find what I’m looking for :rage:.
I’m off to Portugal, topped up with Euros and sterling.
When withdrawing cash at an ATM, Do I use Chequeing/ Savings WITH conversion or Without?

When paying in Restaurants same applies With or without.
What is the Cash withdrawal limit per Day?
Thanks

Always without conversion. Always. Every time. Remember, you want to be charged in the local currency.

Here are some good resources from the Revolut blog

Thanks Chaps , I remember now, just needed a jog.

During a recent stay in Cairo I found that some merchants are auto-applying their conversion to GBP and hand give me a till receipt stating that I agree to be charged in this currency,

QNB Alhali seems to be the only bank doing this.

I did submit a complaint to them (and copied the Egyptian Central Bank) but they never replied. Thieves…

“DCC selected by merchant” is a valid Mastercard (and VISA) chargeback/dispute reason.
You usually can get that fixed by your card issuer, Revolut in this case I assume.

(DISCLAIMER: I have no experience how Revolut handles those)

I remember it being discussed on Twitter, Revolut does accept chargeback complaints in these cases.
