Do I need to convert currency

Maybe a daft question but would appreciate help.

I’m traveling to Europe in the summer. I’ve topped my account up with sterling but so far have €0 in my euros account.

Do I need to exchange my currency into € or can I just leave it as £ and when I use my card in Europe it will convert “on the fly”. Just don’t want to end up not being able to use my card but having loads in my GBP acccount.

Is the same also true of ATM withdrawals or will I need to convert that too?

Hi! You can leave it like that, only exchange it if you feel like the rate is particularly good :slight_smile: Otherwise, Revolut will exchange it automatically when you make a payment in EUR!
