Emulating Monzo’s roadmap would be a start; emulating their support would be even better!

The lack of capacity in relation to CS will be addressed over time.

Any company (Revolut) that has grown to 1.5m users in such a short period of time will have issues scaling all parts of its operations.

Metro Bank has had 900k accounts but 2,000 headcount in 2017. Revolut has 1.5m, but ~300–400 headcount.

It’ll take time to scale.

Meanwhile, [Monzo’s] issues on the product development and functionality front is systemic since it’ll affect retention and user growth.

Growing pains. Every tech startup growing on an exponential (as opposed to a linear fashion) level will not have 1:1 capacity. :r: 's been adding to its CS team significantly since the raise in Q2 2017.

Just because a product has a friendly face doesn’t mitigate the significant shortcomings in terms of its features or functionality.
