Declined payment again

I’ve tried 3 times to make a large ish transaction in US dollars, it keeps being declined and I’d really like to make the purchase today:(

Yes I’ve checked all settings, nothing blocked or disabled , I haven’t verified source of income, thought that was only when topping up over 12,000?!
Sorry, how do I find out my transaction limit? Am quite new to this and haven’t had a reply from ‘Rita’ in 3 hours :frowning:

What exactly do you want to do and how is it declined ?

Do you want to buy something for a large amount ? Or transfer money to someone else ?

I want to book a private cabana at discovery cove in Florida, I can see where the transactions were attempted 3 times, but each time I was told it had been declined despite having more than enough money that I’ve already changed into dollars

That’s weird. Does it say a reason why it is declined ?

Maybe the merchant does not accept Prepaid CC but that should’t be the issue here…

About spending limits:

Card spending is limited to £30,000 or equivalent per year with a sublimit of £5,000 or equivalent per 96 hours meaning that you cannot exceed £5,000 or equivalent in card spending in a 96 hour period. Cash withdrawals from ATMs are limited to £2,000 or equivalent per day.

(You can find this and other useful things in Revolut’s official FAQs.)

If the app notification does not tell you why the payment was declined, you could ask the support. They should be able to tell you the reason. You could ask Rita to forward you to a live agent.

No, they just tell me it’s been declined each time

After finally getting through to Conrad! He doesn’t know why it has been declined and advised me to try again …
