I work for an airline and I travel a lot. Today was the first time that a hotel refused my card. Normally in Asia they don’t except AMEX, but today it was the other way around.
As per their announcement, there has been a service disruption predicted to be rectified by 8pm GMT.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Our card processor had a server outage which was impacting all card transactions and payments. This issues has been fully resolved.
