From business perspective, it is understandable, that does not provide transparent user numbers across countries and also rapidly changes with 7000 new users a day.
But as a nerd, I though it would be interesting to see, how our countries / markets rank?
Especially, as an important indicator for development roadmap. At least you would know your standing
sales guys tell you on conferences how many customers your country has, so the info should not be a secret, just has to be put together within the community!
#1 country UK with 1m+ users
… #n country Hungary with approx 50 000 users*
* sales guy said at a conference in Budapest (29.11.2018)
So, what do you know? How many users are in your country?
PS: found a link, that seems to be regularly updated, click here (but still no country breakdown)
I should also have mentioned that this article also quotes the Republic of Ireland as being the fifth-strongest market for Revolt customers. So with this in mind, @stumpy’s list can be updated to show the following:
Rank
Country
Users
1
United Kingdom
1,000,000
2
3
4
5
Ireland
200,000
(…)
?
Hungary
50,000
I would assume (which I know is a risky thing to do) that Germany and France occupy the second and third positions, with either Spain or Italy in fourth position, but I’m yet to see anything factual to support this.
Acoording to that article published mid-november UK number was around 1,300,000 and France more than 400,000 with 250,000 more clients every month for all countries…
(…) Revolut in Poland is growing very fast. We are currently the second fastest growing market in Europe and the third in terms of the number of users - Sadaj explained. (…)
As an investor in the company I have been following the company very closely and actually have the same list. Here is what I can add to the list above:
France - 480,000 (source)
Spain - 200,000 (source)
Lithuania - 150,000 (source)
Romania - 75,000 (source)
Malta - 50,000 (source)
Belgium - 30,000 (source)
Norway - 13,000 (source)
Can’t find the source right now but also:
Greece - 140,000
Czechia - 40,000
Switzerland - 50,000
Cyprus - 15,000
