Country ranking by user number

From business perspective, it is understandable, that :r: does not provide transparent user numbers across countries and also rapidly changes with 7000 new users a day.

But as a nerd, I though it would be interesting to see, how our countries / markets rank?
Especially, as an important indicator for :r: development roadmap. At least you would know your standing

:r: sales guys tell you on conferences how many customers your country has, so the info should not be a secret, just has to be put together within the community!

#1 country UK with 1m+ users

#n country Hungary with approx 50 000 users*

*:r: sales guy said at a conference in Budapest (29.11.2018)

So, what do you know? How many users are in your country?

PS: found a link, that seems to be regularly updated, click here (but still no country breakdown)

According to the following article from The Irish Times (published 13 December, 2018) there are over 200,000 users in Ireland:

Revolut gets European banking licence, tops 200,000 Irish customers :link:

I should also have mentioned that this article also quotes the Republic of Ireland as being the fifth-strongest market for Revolt customers. So with this in mind, @stumpy’s list can be updated to show the following:

Rank Country Users
1 :uk: United Kingdom 1,000,000
2
3
4
5 :ireland: Ireland 200,000
(…)
? :hungary: Hungary 50,000

I would assume (which I know is a risky thing to do) that Germany and France occupy the second and third positions, with either Spain or Italy in fourth position, but I’m yet to see anything factual to support this.
