Costs of medical insurance different for different clients?

When I look at the overseas medical insurance (app 4.11) I see 5.5€/day for Europe, 12€/day for USA and 8€/day for RoW with an excess of 75€ and a 196.99€ annual cap – these don’t include winter sports.

Someone else in France I contacted sees 0.99€/day for Europe, 1.5€/day for USA and 1.25€/day for RoW with an excess of 75€ and a 37.50€ annual cap – these don’t include winter sports.

The rates I see mean it is cheaper to take out a premium card (40 days cover) €7.99 x 12 = €95.88 and a than 18 days Europe travel 5.5 x 18 = €99.

Why do there appear to be different rates for the insurance shown in the app?

The different rates are computed on various factors including your age - this is why there will be a difference. Please note that the emergency overseas medical insurance with premium is available for individuals up to 70 years old.
