Clarification

Got my phone stolen in London a week ago and already had the revolut app installed on it as well as a physical card. My question is why the app, on my new phone is not recognising my existing card(you get both the option of typing the card number or swipe it for recognition) thus it is not working? Do I need to request another one or what? Thanks for any suggestions.
