Can't create canadian payee

#1

Hello

I want to create UQAM (Université du Québec A Montréal) as payee.
Here is payee info https://servicesfinanciers.uqam.ca/modes-de-paiement.html
Bénéficiaire : Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)
Établissement :
Banque Nationale du Canada
600, rue de la Gauchetière Ouest
Montréal (Québec) H3B 4L2 Canada
N° transit : 00011
N° institution : 006
N° compte : 01-557-24
Code Swift : BNDCCAMMINT
According to https://community.revolut.com/t/virement-vers-le-canada-sending-money-to-canada/42624/2 and https://community.revolut.com/t/add-canadian-account-as-beneficiary/15144/3 I thought I could do it but no. Revolut says account number (01-557-24 or 0155724) and routing number is uncomplete or wrong.
Can someone help me to create this payee ?

Regards

Hi Stef,

Following the information from the link you gave, the routing number should be: 0 + Branch number + Transit number

I’ve tried entering those details, and it seems to work:

I’m not 100% sure of course, you might want to get confirmation from the support.
In any case, if something is wrong in the transfer, the money will go back to you. (minus some fees, as you’re using the SWIFT network)

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I succeeded yesterday in the evening to create my payee but with a routing number with 9 digits only. And yes, I revomed - character in account number.
